Comparison of Methods Used in Detection of DIF in Cognitive Diagnostic Models with Traditional Methods: Applications in TIMSS 2011

This study aims to compare the Wald test and likelihood ratio (LRT) approaches with Classical Test Theory (CTT) Item Response (IRT) based differential item functioning (DIF) detection methods in context of cognitive diagnostic models (CDMs), using TIMSS 2011 dataset as a retrofitting study.
